Guess I should update for anyone who may care and let you know that I survived my food poisoning/stomach flu whatever the fuck I had that made me SO sick last weekend. The worst I tell ya it was the worst
Then on Tuesday my graceful, pregnant self took a header on some concrete. yes, i tripped over my feet. ilanded mostly on my hand and a knee. I was pretty sure I didn't hit the belly but since it sticks out poretty far I went in for monitoring and an ultrasound anyway. Everything is fine. the placenta was intact so no damage from falling and it was good to see the baby. She still has girl parts and is apparently a little on the large side according to ultrasound. They estimate me to be about 1 week ahead and the baby to be just over 7 lbs. of course ultrasound for things like that is not reliable at this point in pregnancy but i think its probably pretty accurate. My first was a week early and just under 9 lbs. and I never did have an accurate date for this pregnancy I've been going by a 5 wk ultrasound- but that is supposed to be pretty accurate.
Anyway.....so I was pretty sore from the fall on top of being wiped out from the weekend's sickness, so I haven't done much this week. We're just waiting to have a baby. should be soon. my guess is the same as its been since the beginning....thanksgiving, give or take a day. i guess i am ready, as ready as i can be.
think i'm going to go to bed now.
