Holy negligence. I haven't been on here in like 2 weeks. I'm sorry to hear about some of the things that are going on with a few of my friends on here. I hope everything calms down soon so we can all sit back and relax and watch our country go to hell.

I got a haircut. (Cue Pavement song....I put pictures in my random folder) That's new.

Also, I've almost been in more fights than I can remember in recent history. The area around my house is also home to a high school that apparently has a high street-thug to normal awkward teenager ratio. These complete loser macho idiots keep coming up to me at the bus stop and I can completely tell by their body language that they're sizing me up and pondering whether or not it would be worth it to try and mug me. It may sound crazy, but I've been in a lot of fights, and I can tell when I'm going to be jumped. And it has never been worth it to try and fight me. I have brothers. I know how to fight.

A few of them even went and started making racist comments towards me once. That was almost potentially a huge incident.

My friend David and I decided that we're going to drink Jameson all day and sit at the bus stop with blackjacks and chains and just wait for someone to fuck with us. We're going to clean up the streets of Bay View one piece of trash at a time.

Aside from all that, everything is swell in MKE. My new band might play Art Bar next month. Maybe.

I'll let you know.

And "Smothered in Hugs" by Guided By Voices is a perfect song.

To esquire...

I wanted to go to the SM show more than anything, but I had to play a show with my band, New Blind Nationals. RIP.

How was it?

Yeah. A full on retrospective of Pavement tunes. It was monumental. smile I'm pretty sure some people stil don't believe it really happened.

I've heard of your (former) band. Never caught you guys though. I'm negligent on the local scene and I know I shouldn't be. smile
