so our little kitty broke his hip after we got back from our honeymoon.He was playing in a drawer got stuck and pushed the drawer in on his own leg, leaving him hanging from the drawer. it was really awful. Well he had surgery almost two weeks ago where they had to pick out pieces of the shattered bone and basically rebuilt his hip, i can only imagine that it was traumatic day for him. He's only a year old and the poor little shit showed up to us all kinds of messed up. He was covered in fleas and had green goop oozing from his eyes and nose, my now husband picked every flea and tick of of him when he showed up on our doorstep at just barely six weeks old. We have had to fork out so much money to get him healthy and its one thing after another. Anyways. He's had to be locked up in the den to keep from over using his hip and his, yes HIS, dogs don't lick his stitches out.

Well this morning we let him come out into the main house for a little while and he's just a beast with his cone on. running everything over and knocking stuff down. But he enjoyed his morning cuddle session with his daddy. It makes my heart smile when I see how much my husband loves that cat! My bald, tattoo'd, military mean, motorcycle ridin, big truck drivin' bad ass husband is such a softy at heart.
