Getting ready to hit the road this weekend and I can't wait. With some of the shows postpoing I've been spinning my wheels for weeks now.
Last time I was in Florida I had a close call at a gas station. As I was pumping gas a cab pulled up and let three young people out, one of which approached me asking for a ride a couple blocks away. Something creeped me about the kid so I declined and got back in my rental car. Kid opened the passenger side door which I foolishly left unlocked, trying to hustle in. I pushed him out, sternly told him 'no', slammed the door and locked it, and proceeded to turn the engine. He kicked the car a couple times before climbing on the trunk. 'On the trunk?' I thought...'okay, I'll hit the gas hard and quick and watch you tumble off'. I had to u-turn at the exit for the traffic light and he tried running to cut me off so I swerved at him and made him dive before taking the light at about 40 MPH.
