Finally getting around to starting this journal. It will make more sense if I start by saying I'm a photojournalist with a dayjob. Right now I'm covering mainly "mixed martial arts" or MMA. Ten years of covering bands didn't get me far but it sure was fun...now I'm trying to be more realistic.
Some of this might come off as bragging. I hope not...I'm more writing what is going on with an eye y'all might learn a lesson and take it further. I'd rather bore you than brag to you.
Right now I'm booking a tour of Europe for a magazine story but am trying to find the balance between instinct and reason once again, a theme readers might quickly pick up on. Instinct wants to go to Croatia or a stop every night while reason cautions I don't need to and will already lose money on this article. When I travel the US I plan on camping in a rental car to save money on hotels. Unfortunately all but three days of this EU trip are planes, so that is out until I hit Germany. If you can't tell this is stressing me right now. Guess I better get back to work.
