T-I-L-L-Y, we don't give a fuck!
The show was awesome. Kiana was smokin' hot, and Tilly rocked the house. It kinda seemed like they didn't have their shit together, though and the set was only like 6 songs. Neely has a much better voice than she gives herself credit for. I don't really care much for/about Now It's Overhead, but the lead singer looks like Mick Jagger without the lips and also coked out of his mind. Then there was Rilo. They came on with an entourage and it was incredible. For a band like that, I really didn't expect it to be so fucking loud... My left ear cut out a few times, I had to get away from the speaker(there were other people even closer, I pity them), and it's still not 100%. Near the end, I nearly collapsed from the heat and the hours and hours of standing in more or less the same spot, but it was totally worth it. Jenny's got some awesome pipes and damn good lyrics. So I was a total bitch at this show. I've been to much harsher, more grueling, hotter shows, and not had too much of a problem, I don't know what happened. Maybe I'm getting old.
Cait didn't get into the city til 11, so she totally missed the show, and I was waaaaay too tired to go out after, so we're supposed to hang out today. We'll see if that actually happens.
