This morning I'm perky! I didn't get much sleep last night - I went to IKEA - by myself and planned organisation for my new house - so now I'm really excited. I'm creating a real vision. It's so weird that I don't have to stuff all of our crap into one room. I can make the lounge look like what I want it to - with Andy input - but let's face it - he'd tartan the whole house if he was in charge of decorating. The boy loves tartan. Me? Well I'm going for space - organisation - colours that reflect nature/summer - and cheap.
I think Andy is most excited about the 'band room' - we've had this dream of setting up the band in a room and it will come true for him. I'm going to learn drums. I might be really bad so I'm not at the stage of saying "I'm going to be the drummer" because we just don't know... I did play drums in the school band but that was marching music and a long time ago.
Gas/petrol whatever you want to call it - is going up. I wish things would settle down again - sometimes it feels like the end is getting nigh - my thing is - hurry up and release the alternative transport. I know it's created and possibly built. Give the plans to the chinese - they'll mass produce it for us and then we can all be on the next thing. Solar energy cars - or something crazy like that. No... instead they'll bleed us dry with gas going up & up & up and then they'll bring out the alternative solar car on plans - like mobile phones - so that everyone can have one - and then they'll invent upgrades for them - like singing flashing headlights - all to preserve one thing - the mighty dollar.
Sometimes I wish I was a hippie living in the mountains. But I love living in cities.
Moving offices today. Pretty exciting to get out of Spring Hill and no longer catch trains t work. Oh I hate trains. They are so freaking slow - I'd rather be stuck in traffic on a bus than stuck on tracks in a train.
Oh shoot I better go! Going to be a busy busy day. I haven't packed much at work - going to have to rush it today!! But that's okay I'm good at rushing!
