okay so Shamus is the cutest freaking cat in the world. Oh I manage to piss him off so much but it's simply because he's my replacement child. Yes it's true - a cat fills that empty space in my heart for child - for now. Oh gosh being a woman with these crazy desires is the strangest feeling. He's sitting on the coffee table with the boys in the lounge room and everytime someone makes a comment about the video game he nods like he understands what's going on - you know fitting in with the boys. I think we've managed to confuse Shamus - I think he thinks he's a human. But it's darn cute watching him behave like one of us.

So Raf is back from Poland for 2 months - due to family tragedy which I won't make mention of other than this - and he spent all weekend at our house playing video games and watching family guy. It's so nice to have the house full of people again. Reminds me of old times. There was always a permanent non-resident at our house - then we got married or people went overseas!

So I got a package from my sister(in-law) Sarah from TC, Michigan - and it was really cool! Oh I miss her so much. We have one of those exciting growing friendships but we're on opposite sides of the world - and I feel sorry for her to not have a ... a friend in TC. It's a beautiful town but it'll get cold soon and when that happens - the misery sets in. Lucky she has her daughter and her husband will be down soon - and she should be right then. And I hesitated when I said friend before because Sarah does have her mum - and she is a cool awesome friend. An adult that you can be honest with and relate to - but it's not the same as having someone you're own age able to do the same things as you.

We get to start the gym again tomorrow - so that's cool. And no I didn't have to take them to court - it was as simple as submitting a letter that reserved my rights under the contract I had signed with said company that I believe to be in breach of. Oh I'd love to be a lawyer. I love rules, fighting and fairness - which is also the reason I haven't seeked out becomming a lawyer. I think it sucks that people walk all over the law and no one really knows or cares about it.

I really need a desk and chair for my computer and printer. Can't wait to move out and set up the house together. I tried going to IKEA yesterday - ended up in Carindale. God I'm addicted to Carindale. I just like shopping out there.

I'm really all over the place.
