Thanks guys for the congrats comments on my driving. sonofJah I'll have to drive out your way with the husband for a visit sometime in the future!!! I'm driving out to Caboolture this weekend - yes people - going north - leaving the city lights.
My bestfriend from highschool is pregnant and she still lives out that way - so I'm going to visit the girl! I can't wait to see her with that baby glow! I find myself a little - just a little - jealous of her being with baby. NOt that I want to be right now but I guess I'd like to be - it's such a strange feeling. That desire to have a baby - I don't really understand it but I'm starting to like it.
Working at Mary St this morning - should be nice to be in the corporate office instead of the out-back spring hill building that I work in. Someone got hit by a car in front of our building yesterday. After the clean up there was the remains of the accident on the road - a spilt hamburger - squished to death. I hope the guy is okay - I think it's everyone's fear - to get hit by a car on that road.
So on Wednesday I put down the deposit on my beautiful iMac g5!!!!!!!!!!! Oh I'm so freaking excited about it! I've been having dreams about it - like I'm seriously having dreams about it. I'm such a computer dork - didn't realise it because I've never actually owned a computer before. I'm picking it up next Thursday - with my printer and I can't wait to get it home and tinker for 4 days straight. I'll break for Sigur Ros - but then I'll get back to tinkering.
Actually - I'm not really like that. I get bored real quick and move on - and I'll also hold myself back from obsessing over it - but I won't let anyone else touch. In fact - I'm nervous about my husband going near it. I know that's wrong - sharing is awesome and all that - but... it's mine!!! He has a play station!
Shamus has had an exciting week - he day cared with a friend - so that was interesting for him. He made me chase him around and around the house for the first hug and kiss but once I had him in my arms he never wanted to leave. Oh kitty cats are funny! I wish you all could know the fluffy comfort of my cat - there hasn't been a single person who has said they didn't like him from meeting him.
