I got it!!! I got it so easily but I think my test guy went really easy on me. He took me through some easy roads and stuff - I still did a couple of things wrong but, those are things I'll get wrong until I get some driving experience in me. But I'm pretty excited I got it. I went for a drive by myself last night and I sort of didn't know what to do with myself... I've had to have someone for so long... that I actually felt lonely! But I got over that quick because I could listen to my stereo and then shop by myself!
Went to the gym last night. I'm going to transfer out to Carindale now that I can get there myself. I can go on Saturdays and do yoga or pillates and stuff.
Back to my driving thing - I have managed to achieve something that I thought I would never achieve. I moved out of home when I was 16 - and never learnt to drive at home - and then have always had the kindness of others to help me get to places and public transport. I feel like I've upgraded... yes now I'm part of the club of drivers and because I don't like to drink much anymore I can be DD!!!
Okay I have gotten those feelings out into the open now.
Shamus has turned into a real cuddle cat. Which is awesome because he's so freaking fluffy - and it's soft fluffy! He's been a little sick - I think maybe the flu or some bad food but he seems to have gotten much better. He was being a little momma's boy when he was sick and it felt sooooooo good! Andy is going to be the fun dad and I'm going to be the caring for you when you're sick mum.
8 weeks until we get our own place. One week to my birthday. Nearly one week to Horrorpops and Sigur Ros.
