Well the husband is in the garage making music. So for some reason I'm so distracted I don't know what to do with myself. As soon as he has his own thing to do I feel like I'm lost with nothing to do and I can't just hang around him. I want to make them ice water and cucumber sandwiches.
The job is okay. I got to make a career direction choice and I'm having a hard time doing it. Stay with Myer? Or go for another office job? Black and whites or office suits?? Customers vs answering phones. Products or filing? What does a girl do?
I never write much when I get to such crossroads.
Plus hasn't it been hot? Fuck me it's been bloody awful.
I nearly twisted Shamus's arm the other day by accident and it's still killing me on the inside. He's totally okay but I just feel so bad - what kind of cat mother am I????

case in point: my last section I was in sucked - the boss was a tool, i hated going to work. the rest of the people i worked with were great, but then the boss dragged it all down.

now that i've moved, work is great.
Is working at myer going to advance your career, or does it pay the bills? do you want a myer career?
there is something to be said for starting at the ground floor and working up - when I started i was opening mail and filing. Now i'm one step away from executive level, and i'll probably be travelling o/s for work this year.
whenever I'm faced with such dilemmas where I think I know what I want subconsiously, but am not aware of it, i flip a coin.
