okay so weekend was okay... Didn't end up making it to Mouthguard (sorry MANDY !!!) We ended up having a late dinner in the Valley - couple of drinks and going home in the rain.

I feel pretty *blah* at the moment. I've been reading up on Africa again. I just get so upset about the shit that manages to go down in that country and 'W' society don't care... I think I'm in search of human decency and what it is to me so that I can do it... That make sense?
Oh maybe I just need to own a farm and live on it or something. Get away from all this media and information sharing. Live blissfully ignorant. But that doesn't stop what's going on - but I guess me reading about it doesn't stop it either. When am I going to change talk/read into action?

I'm with Mandy...i just get depressed whenever I go to the Valley...I only moved to Brissie a few years ago so never got to see it during it's heyday, but fucking hell...I'd rather eat my own face than go there these days. The same thing happened to St Kilda in Melbourne...happens all over the world I suppose. Am I just cynical??
