I haven't blogged in ages, but I have a ton of updates for all 3 of you who read my blogs haha.
I guess I'll start with my newest little leg addition.
I love my little Native Kitten, he's perfect. I decided to give my other leg a little break and get a little gift for myself. I turn 22 on Sunday, which is weird to me. Time is passing so quickly, before I know it I'll be 30.
That didn't stop me from buying 25 dollars worth of gummies though..

This was the first time I've done a set and I didn't view all the pictures as we shot, or was part of the editing process. All the chosen images were done by the photographer.
It's been a little over a year since I've started my hopeful journey, and it's time I did a recap from over the years and sort of a little continuation of things I've noticed about SG from a blog I did back in the summer. This Blog
Now that I've been here over a year, I can't honestly say there has been much change since that last blog, but still a small variety of one is still change indeed. This year, (I should say so far since it's not quite over, but I think this is it for the year...) there has been one brown/black girl go pink and, she even got 2 sets of the day this year, which is awesome since a lot of brown SG have blogged about only having one set bought in the years that they have been part of SG. One is still not a great balance for variety at all, but it's a start and better than none. The only thing that has drastic change is that I've seen more black hopefuls quit or take breaks from SG since they were not getting enough support. And a lot of these ladies have produced amazing sets and have even been posted on the SG instagram. I'm not going to lie, it's discouraging not seeing ladies who are of the same skin color not being shown on the front page or on other major modeling sites/magazines/ect. Have I thought about quitting? It has crossed my mind, but then what does that tell other brown women who want to do alternative modeling? I do wish major sites would support showing more brown/black alternative ladies, but that's just how things are until enough people demand something different. Maybe next year two black girls will go pink.
Anyway, I've enjoyed my time here so far. All of you members keep me here. <3 I think this is it for the night, I have more things to share, but I'll wait until time gets closer.
