Some of the sweetest souls EVER are on this site.
hotcurry:
Nah. I'm going on a massive diet. There shant be any Ben or Jerry's in my future. Unless you know any nice young men by those names.
samling:
what makes you say that?

Not every syllable communicated from male to female is a pickup.

In the future I'll keep the craziness and the cheese to myself.
samling:
are you kidding me? someone got their butt hurt because you're flirty once in a very great while?

you are a *total* sweetheart. don't let one person keep you from being yourself.

it's not craziness and cheese. i have found when you do say something, it's with merit and for a reason.

I got called out early this morning, just at dawn. Something happened that I have never seen nor heard tell of.

I had the Jeeps' low beams on as I headed into town. As I drove in the shadows of the woods, these little birds leapt out and flew in the headlight beams like dolphins swim along the bow of a ship. Several different birds...

that sounds beautiful.
swtsensazn:
haha...silly silly. No marriage proposals or amount of bad poetry could ever wash out your chessy pick ups and crazy stories.

i hope you had a great christmas and an even better new years.

i on the otherhand have a sinus infection, head cold, and body aches. a week ago i went rockclimbing...fell off an overhang...and because my FANTASTIC belaying partner is so diligent and focused, dropped me 8 feet and i landed on my back.

so i'm not feeling 110%.
but other than health issues, i'm doing dandy.

Nothing much to report. Rainy here for a while. Vacation soon.

Officially into new Battlestar Galactica, it's no Farscape, but it beats spider solitaire.

Narnia certainly was no LOTR. Bleh.

"Walk the Line" is good though, almost makes me wanna think about maybe one day opening discussions on considering possibly dating a girl from the South again.

Has anybody seen the new Chesty Puller US...

swtsensazn:
Its 11:37pm at the moment and i wanted to wish you the merriest christmas filled with all the greatest and nicest things possible.

Surprisingly...its not snowing here in calgary...we had a high of plus 8 which is unheard of this time of year. No snow...which kinda hinders the whole experience of christmas..but besides that things are all well.

MERRY CHRISTMAS DEAR FRIEND.

We Win! We Win! We Win!

No drilling in the ANWR! There is right in this world!

Politicians actually did the right thing, I'm shocked as all get out.

Given up on cars. Started looking at trucks today.

A few things that stand out about my hometown, positive and negative:

On Sunday night at 9 you can drive all the way across town and not see another car on the road.

Every Fall the golf course drives huge spikes into the ground the length of the 9th fairway, and every winter they get pulled out by a co-op of multiple pickup trucks and...

i have a one little helper/bowl licker/cookie tester. she approves of most of mom's cooking, as long as it doesn't have nuts or pickles in it.

the other kids...well, they're furry, and aren't very interested in cookies. unless, say the cookies had bacon or hamburger in them.

you want a song quote relavant to your journal?

"lord have mercy, baby's got her blue jeans on..."
