The freaky, scarey owl from The Secret of NIMH tried to kill me last night. Or at least carry off me off.
Sucker was huge, I thought it was an airborne speckled bear. I go out to get something out of the rain last night and as I turn on the truck headlights I see this speckly brown flying crucifix like 5 feet wide swoop down, make this bizarre cackle screech, stop in midair about 5 feet off the ground, then make four big wing fwomps and disappear back up into the night sky.
This owl could have carried off a full grown housecat easily. 2-3 Chicahuahuas. Bout peed myself and had an infarction right there in the driveway.
