A few random thoughts I've been thinking...
"Knights In White Satin" is one of the best songs ever written. It's sad and romantic and hopeful and introspective and melodic, it's got an awesome poem and a cool drum interlude. It's just an amazing song, truly underrated and unappreciated IMHO. I put it right up there with the best Lennon, Dylan, and Cohen.
I hate vuvuzelas. How drunk, high, deaf, or stupid must you be to enjoy the drone of a billion bees on meth?
Univision. The tv broke at work and all we get is Mtv and Univision. I live in the way wrong place. The women of Univison are BEAUTIFUL. The comedy is for 4 year olds, but the women are a vision. Almost all of them are curvy and feminine and gorgeous. America has sexy all wrong. Sexy is not anorexic pedophile bait, just watch 5 minutes of Univision and be schooled.
Mtv. I witnessed the birth of Mtv. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. What began with Remote Control noone could have foreseen. Guidette? Shouldn't it be Guida? My Latin is a little rusty.
Christina Aguillera. Honey. Nobody is shocked by latex and S&M anymore. Please, just sing. You have an amazing set of pipes, we want to pay attention to your talent.
I'm gonna go watch some soaps en espanol now.
