I''m caught in the big midwest blizzard that hit Indiana. 8 inches of snow with ice under and an inch of ice on top. I am marooned on the farm.
So...the other portion of my work is really killing me. It is very physically taxing. But I've dropped a pants' size in three weeks. Here's to keeping that ball rolling. Also, I can climb up 12 flights of stairs without seeing stars and the images of my ancestors now. My legs are really coming around, it's my feet that seem to be the weak link.
With meds, Luvamoose is getting around fine now. I hear some of her 4 shoulders pop from time to time, but no limps and she even runs after the cats again. This is a huge load off of my heart. I've only had her back a few months, but she is just about everything to me; speed bump, spare napkin, garbage disposal, foot warmer. I'm kidding, I've loved that dog since she was 7 lbs, even now that she's 200 and grey-muzzeled she's still my puppy baby.
If you know anyone in the blizzard zone you should give them a call. I look to be stuck here at least until Friday and I'm gonna go REDRUM if I don't get some human contact. I'm sure others feel the same.
