I think I have poison ivy on my face.

I love the farm, with my whole heart, but having poison ivy on one's face is enough to make you move in town. Along these same lines, I'm ready for fall now. 70 degree days and 50 degree nights sound amazing right now.
hotcurry:
What the hell man? How do you swing that one? I've never had poison ivy, thank GOD. My brother used to get it terribly bad all over his body. I definately feel for you, it looks painful.

I have three days to become a much much better typist. This job application I'm doing calls for a typing test. I just can't do punctuation, I lose track of my fingers!

I hate looking for work
I'd rather tatoo my eyelids

with broken glass and acid
hotcurry:
Sometimes I hate work once I find it.

I just had two of the creepiest nightmares I have had in a loooong time back to back. I am now completely awake at 551am. I'm gonna go get a glass of WATER and see if I can go back to sleep.
hotcurry:
I will never ever ever eat the nachos at Dodger Stadium again. Though that should have been something I knew without ever putting it into practice.
adora:
Oh, wow!! I only had to travel a few hours to the coast to get mine! :] They are getting very popular. And thank you!

Who decided, and why, that noone can turn on their brights with a pedal anymore? I had an ancient Jeep with the brights as a pedal/switch kinda thing all the way to the left, past the clutch, and I'm here to tell ya it was damn convenient.

Life just kicked me in the guts again. Does life just not know the Marquis of Queensbury or what?
bob:
I think I shot tea out my nose when Nathan Fillion started singing...

And, wearing this shirt, I'm inclined to walk up to people with fists clenched and say, "These are not the hammer."
peyote:
*breaths* I'll try to take it easy wink

I don't have air conditioning. I sincerely wish the cats would stop pooping under my bedroom windows.
hotcurry:
Thank you for your comment. I never knew these could be so severe. He was given some medication to take at the first sign of an onset. Luckily he has not had one since. But we shall see how well the meds work.

Abbreviated list of the best things in life:
1. Puppies
2. Christmas
3. That glint a girl gets in her eye the moment she realizes she's really hammered and not acting like a lady, but decides not to care.
4. The perfect song coming in crystal clear on the radio at the perfect time

Couldn't resist. Had to download Cibo Matto "Sugar Water" possibly the best slow jam ever. Arcade Fire could learn a thing or two from this song. Banned at 84% of the all-girl schools in the world, this song could cause trouble at the nursing home.

Now...

Who wants to listen to a little Cibo in the moonlight with me? Did I mention the honeysuckle are...

Good year for honeysuckle here in the niehborhood. The viney glorious stuff is everywhere this summer and every dawn and dusk the air is just loaded with what, in my humble opinion, is the best aroma in nature (sorry ladies). Even my farm has some big 8-10 ft. Honeysuckle bushes, beating out the periennial powerhouses poison oak and ivy for space on the rusty fencerows....

Go see Speed Racer. By far the best movie of the summer to date.

Iron man is okay

Indy Jones does X-files disappoints, and I had such high hopes. Lucas has lost it completely. Spielburg is in a tailspin. Thank heavens for the Wachowskis and the fella that directed Pan's Lab.
hotcurry:
I saw Indy last night. It feels like I had a bad one night stand. I just feel hollow and empty.

You know you work nights when:

Whenever you go to turn on the tv you instinctually look for Thomas the Tank Engine

You, no shit, are making plans with friends and ask if the times are in AM or PM.

You pay more attention to the lows of the day's weather because you're just gonna sleep through the highs anyway.

Morning song birds piss you...
