The latest headlines around the world all seem to be focused on one thing, More than the war in Iraq, more than Brazilian scandalous elections, more than Cowboys getting their faces stomped in (It wasn't Michael Irvin either -- damn it), the media is obsessed with one thing. REALLY? Holy shit. I didn't know they were capable of such things! I mean, their souls are pure EVIL, right? They don't have families, jobs, and certainly not personal beliefs! All along I thought they were monstrous beings from some lost continent, or maybe another planet. But definitely not human beings. Who would have thought that humans were capable of SMILING, let alone laughing? What headlines will we have next? "9/11 Hijackers Possessed Penises, Testicles"? Or maybe "9/11 Hijackers Found to Have Had Eyeballs." Or "9/11 Hijackers Were Muslim."
Only in America could we devote entire news articles to the bombshell revelation that people LAUGH. Like this is new science. "What we have here, gentlemen, is some strange kind of human behavior that I've never seen, mainly because my wife is cheating. I call it 'laughing.'" Have we really lost touch with reality this much? Are terrorists really considered to be not human? Because if that's the case, half of Congress are extras from Monsters, Inc.
