February 28, 2009 (Santa Monica, CA) Sour Crew Productions hosts the Hashemite Zion Alchemy LA event at Dakota Lounge. Musical Alchemy includes live performances of multicultural Middle Eastern Hip Hop dynamically combined with the first peace summit hosted by Arab and Jewish skateboarders caught on tape and cut into the documentary, 'SOUR: 4 Peace in the Middle East.' Sean Scarritt, Producer of SOUR speaks on the importance of uniting people based on shared passions, SOUR's motto was a film about doing what you love with people you're not supposed to like'; the Hashemite Zion Alchemy events unites people from various traditions and cultures through another urban artform, hip hop."
HZA Artists: HZA combines a unique lineup of Middle Eastern Hip Hop artists with distinct and unique messages of peacemaking and community advocacy even during conflict.

The entire night is dedicated to resurrecting the SONIC VIBRANCE and Positive Revolutionary energy of marginalized youth and families on both local and global levels. Including VIPs from local advocacy groups and community organizations, loads of Shwag from our sponsors, great music, a dynamic film and most importantly a GREAT CAUSE. Proceeds from the door will benefit local youth empowerment through the arts and provide much needed support abroad within Gaza, the Occupied Territories and Israel. Charities include but are not limited to:
The Way: Provides direct aid to Gaze and the Occupied Territories. They state "peace between Palestinians and Israelis is not a dream, nor it is a lost cause. In fact it is a path that both parties walk in which they learn from each other through reconciliation, forgiveness, and dialogue:"
Free the Shministim: The Shministim are Israeli high school students who have been imprisoned for refusing to serve in an army that occupies the Palestinian Territories. Dec 18 marks the launch date of a global campaign to release them from jail.
Youth Speak Collective: Youth Speak Collective is a youth-driven initiative empowering low-income communities in the Northeast San Fernando Valley with the skills necessary to pursue higher education and create strong communities.
Imagined by SourCrew + DuneSea Productions, the creative team that produced SOUR, the first urban skate documentary to be filmed in the Middle East; offering a fresh, fast-paced and inspiring perspective of peace building and Middle Eastern urban youth culture. SOUR has screened in film festivals worldwide including the 2008 Arab Film Festival as well as the 7th Red Sea International Film Festival in Eliat, Israel and is the winner of the Best Indie Spec Award at the 2008 Boston International Film Festival. With articles in Skate Magazines in over a dozen countries, Art Shows + Community Dialogue throughout the Middle East and US, SOUR is a worldwide phenomenon based on uniting people through shared passions.
