Dear everyone who has ever made fun of me for being "overly cautious" in my neighborhood:

My roommate got mugged last night.

Two guys drove up right outside our apartment when he got back from the bar around 2am. They jumped out of their car, chased him down, and held a gun to his head.

They took his (christmas present) ipod, cellphone and wallet, hit him in the head with the gun, and drove off.

He's fine, said he's more pissed than anything.

I'm so fucking sick of this town.
