i have to practice reading aloud because a) i want to work on my diction for teaching and b) i have been known to perform my stuff once in a while so it's always good to listen to myself from time to time.

when i saw neil gaiman read i became acutely aware of how much i need to improve. he is the BEST at reading aloud - perfect pace and timing!
