So my first Drill back from Iraq was such a fun one that I want a transfer out of there yesterday. I was told that my uniform is too faded, and I needed to fix that. Thank you, my uniform and I spent 11 months in a hostile desert shitbird, if you notice, it also has a Combat Patch and a Combat Action Badge, both of which you only get if you deploy and get shot at. WTF have you done with your life other than pointing out that my uniform is faded, because ALL of mine are faded!

man.. some people just suck. tell him youll take one of his never-been-in-a-combat-situation uniforms that never had a reason to be faded from actual wear and tell him youll pay him with your boot in his ass for it?

I would very much love to tell him that, but he is three ranks ahead of me and I would be reduced, fined, and thrown in jail frown I just want out of that negative situation. They are trying to change the unit, but way too much remains the same and I want no part of that. The other unit is 20 miles closer to home. On top of all of that, I was told that I was basically a shitbird for not wanting to go to any Army schools until I have a regular job outside the Army.
