When I came to pick up the wonderful Ember for my birthday action, she gave me a card. Since she didn't email it to me like I asked her to a few days ago, I found it on her computer (go Photoshop's open recent menu!). I have a feeling the terrible new main member page blog design will corrupt this image somehow (just like every entry I make), so here's it is!

I modified it slightly: made it one image instead of two (it was printed onto two pages), changed her name to protect her secret identity, and converted to 16-bit colors (32,768, not to be confused with that other 16-bit image format that has trillions of colors (48-bit)) to save on bandwidth that I don't pay for.

I'm tired. I think I'll take a nap. I'm meeting Ember when she gets out of class at 9 for dinner, then off to my friend's DJ thing. He's moving to San Francisco at the end of the month.

Oh, I also bought Super Paper Mario (Wii) from f.y.e. today, after a failed attempt to find the limited edition release of the new Porcupine Tree album, Fear of a Blank Planet. Maybe I'll buy that off Amazon after all. The girl at the register was probably flirting with me. Dating Ember has made me shallow; I just can't see myself with a hippopotamus.
