It's official. I was out of work all week long. It's like the vacation I didn't ask for and didn't enjoy. Because I was sick. And still am.
This was my most unproductive week since my three week break after graduation. It makes me want to do some crazy art right now. Plus my friend Ajay is sending me links to cool motion graphics companies I should check out so I'm watching lots of inspiring reels.
I hope to still have a job next week. I should be okay, since I'm freelance anyway.
Sunday morning Mark, Jermaine, myself, and others will be seeing 300 at the IMAX in NYC. I've been watching tons of silly 300-themed ytmnds and every single one of them makes me want to watch 300 again. Hopefully I'll be feeling okay.
Oh, speaking of illness. I went to the doctor yesterday. Since I don't have health insurance, it doesn't really matter who I see, so my uncle made an appointment with his and my aunt's doctor. He was really nice and apparently his daughter does some kind of post-production graphics work for Disney. I thought that was coincidentally interesting. Since I have no insurance, he gave me a bunch of free samples for antibiotics and some decongestants which should last me just over a week. So all I ended up paying for was just the visit, which wasn't too much of a setback.
Oh, Mark just got an Infiniti G35 (he sold the GSX and traded in the Jeep). Todd is getting a new SI (another fucking Civic? Gaaaaayyy). Lauren's getting a new Ion. I want a new goddamn car.
Ugh. Anyway. Back to finishing that website...

Heh. I wanted to buy a Civic when I got my first car. Luckily I was intelligent enough to opt otherwise once it dawned on me that I'd probably NEVER be able to find my ride in a mall parking lot. I'd be trying to unlock countless other Civics in the process.....
