So, I'm not sure anyone noticed that I haven't been around lately, probably not. I need to vent a little and what better place than to a group of people I've never met and can't judge or speak about it with others.

So in the fall I met a girl who I got along with very well. We had tons of similarities and common interests. Long story short, we went on a couple of dates, movies, concerts and such. She ended up calling things off because we had spiritual differences, she is a devout Cristian, and I am an atheist. In December we began to hang out again and she kind of came around. She said seeing me more made her more open to a relationship, in the beginning of January we started officially dating, and things were great. We were match on so many levels, including sexually, god damn the sex was amazing. To wrap this up we broke up last night because she couldn't stand having such strong feelings for someone who she can't share her spirituality with. It really sucks, it was the most normal relationship either of us had been in and it had to end with out either of us wanting it to. Can anyone offer any advice or distractions?

We were always as open as possible, neither of us had any disrespect for each others beliefs, we had deep respect for each others intelligence. I'm not sure there is anything else either of us could do. I'm just terribly bummed, this woman made such an incredible impact on my life, not to mention she treated me better than anyone ever has. I just needed to talk I guess.
