So the new year is just around the corner!!!! I'm pretty excited!!!! I know the new year is going to be so exciting with everything going on in my life!! Plus there's a fun party happening tonight!!!!! I like parties!!!!!!!
Well I hope everyone had good holidays!! Ours was alright. Rubix and me had a lot of running around to do so we basically drove almost the entire holidays. It was good to see all the families and we had some good laughs but I feel more tired after the holidays then before. I think they should change holidays to festive worky days or something that doesn't give you the impression that your going to have holidays!!!! I hope everyone got what they wanted!?! Rubix and me got a blender!!!!!!! Sweet!!!! We're going to make smoothies all summer long!!!!! and blend things I guess!!!
I haven't done any art since I finished classes and I'm kind of going crazy!!! Well it's not like I had tones of time to do any work but I now that the holidays are almost done I need to do something. Actually that's not all true.... Rubix got a gift certificate from Lee to get a new tattoo so I'm drawing it out for her. So that was a little bit of art for me. I can't wait for Rubix to get this piece done... it's going to be so sexy!!!!!! I finally got around to taking a picture of my painting I did for class. The painting had to do with mystery and the figure.... we had a model come in and the students set up a really lame scene.... so I just went off and did my own thing. I used just the models face in hyper reality and then illustrated the rest to make a weird difference in style. I really like the piece but I'm still waiting to hear what my teacher thinks of it. Let me know what you think... I love feedback!!!!
I wish I could show you a picture of the model, it really looks like her. I was pretty stoked at myself for getting the face just right... it took me hours and hours to do just the face.
I also took a picture of the view I had of our beautiful city from my printing class. Gosh I love Montreal!!!!!!!!!
