I haven't posted a blog in a while cuz i am in a little foul mood and i didn't want to be a bitch before the weekend.
On thursday i went into work and when i got there i was notified that my position at work was terminated,and they are laying me off.Which is really bitter/sweet,the timing of it now makes it more bitter.I really didn't like my job all that much but the money was alright.Now that they laid me off i can collect unemployment but thats only a certain percentage of my salary.Thats the sweet part,i can get paid without working just not as much as i was making.I've never once took advantage of unemployment and i've been working since i was 17 so i think i deserve to use it.......just this once.haha.Fuck it,its about time that i take advantage of our fucking government.Like i said the timing is the shitty part of all this.I've been thinking really hard about going back to school and i wanted to save as much money as i could over the summer to do that,but now i'm gonna have to rethink my shit.What i'm gonna try and do is get a job that could pay me under the table and collect unemployment........fuck the government completely!!!!haha.Oh well now i have plenty of time in my hands to work on my art and the aquarium tv's.
On friday me and my gf went to see the Lily Allen show and that was a lot of fun.We got a little drunk and thats always fun.The show was really good,she's really fun live.After the show we caught a cab home and that turned out to be the funniest part of the whole night.When we got in the cab i was felling silly so i started talking with our cabby about his night and stuff.He told us this long story about gambling on the video machines and shit.Anyways he was so funny and when we got to our place it cost us 10 bucks for the ride.All i had was a 20,but he had no change cuz he spent it all in the machines,hahahahaha,so he said forget it and wished us a good night.So fucking sweet.I've never had a free cab ride!!!!!!!!
Saturday also was bitter/sweet at our place.The Habs(hockey team)played thier last season game and if they won they would of made it to the playoffs,but they lost.Doesn't mean much to me since i'm not a fan of the habs,but all my roommates are so they're all sad.Then the shittyest thing happened!After the game it was the UFC and our Montreal homeboy was fighting,George St-Pierre.Anyways he was the favorite to win,he was the champ,and he got his ass handed to him.Matt Serra won the fight.Boooooooo!!!!!Great fight though,and congradulations to Matt Serra.
So that was my weekend.Fucking shit talk about up and downs eh?Oh well its just some small obstacles that i'll have to overcome.I hope yall had a better weekend then myself.........
