I was finally able to go to the Jamaican bar this weekend and I got completely twisted on rum punch.
The owners of the bar are actually from Africa and are the most chill guys I have ever met. They invited my friend and I upstairs (their apartment) to hang out and sober up for a bit. They were such gentlemen.

Let me say that I am completely paranoid about my car being stolen. This is probably becuase it has almost happened before. Let me backtrack a bit. We were outside the bar (in -10 degree weather) waiting for the guys to close up. I look over and I see a kid with a slim jim looking to steal peoples cars. I freak out in my heart and I panic. I started saying I had to leave becuase of my dog Puddy. My friend was like, "no you don't what's up?" and I was trying to tell her without seeming like a fool (given that I have a club on my streeing wheel and an autolock on my break pedal) but it didn't work. I went upstaris for literally two minutes and was really antsy. The guys pulled out a spliff (i wasn't into it) and I didn't want to fuck up the flow with my anxiety. My friend didn't want to hang out with them alone so 2 minutes later, 3:00 am ish I went home (sober might i add).

Oh! And I was thinking about taking up an instrument. How about the banjo?
