I've become the "zany" classmate that makes everyone laugh. It all started a few weeks ago when I noticed that I always had a gaggle of people following me to the soda machine or the sink, or out to my car to get my lab coat and cracking up whenever I said something. Eventually I realized that the way I speak entertains them-- which is a bit perturbing, since I just speak proper English and the level of
observation that comes with oh, I don't know, *being alive*. Apparently this is a novel thing in my class. However, I can't say I don't enjoy the attention.

Well, friends and neighbors, it finally happened. I exhausted the lesbian porno library on Kazaa. So I got myself LimeWire, and now I'm downloading all of the songs that I just remembered-- a lot of the new Flogging Molly album (but I'll buy it anyway), an embarassing amount of Marilyn Manson, some Scottish bagpipes, and oh yes, a song from Styx. My musical taste is nothing if not electic.

The in-laws were in town yesterday, and we spent ten hours shopping. TEN HOURS. EdtheRipper and I got a few more Christmas presents for the little one, and his mom got us both some new clothes-- he got 2 pairs of cargo pants, and I got a purple cardigan that makes me look booblicious. So now I have three and a half shirts that I will wear out of the house, to go with my one pair of pants.

I need to get some new clothes. Today everything was in the laundry so I was forced to dress like a bag lady. It's after midnight and my hair is all greasy and stringy and I'm in my PJs, but I am thirsty and craving Slimfast ice cream (hurrah for diets). Will I go to the convenience store? Of course not, I look godawful.

My buddy list is shrinking by the day. I will be requesting new friends soon. To the rest of you: stop going grey.
