We have one of those old refrigerators that have the freezer compartment inside. It's such a piece of shit, and it hasn't kept anything at the right temperature in about a year. So I'm defrosting it so I can clean it and start again. All I salvaged from the fridge was a carton of milk, a gallon of water, a bottle of cooking sherry that was expensive, and some Italian dressing to put on my Wacky Mac. 
I missed class on Thursday, and now I'm cursing myself. We spent Friday night in a Long Island hospital with my daughter, who had a fever of 104. She's fine though, recovering nicely. Sleeping alot.
Yesterday, I spent alot of time on Staten Island, where my brother-in-law's car broke down on the Verrazzano Bridge while he was following us home. We waited with him. He got towed off the bridge by the sexiest cop I have ever seen. He even had the accent.
There's something about cops with really heavy accents that makes my loins quiver.
Oh, yeah, hubby's brother got home okay.

mine is mostly walking. he still wobbles and falls a bit, but he's getting pretty good at it.
