Scary, scary people.

Hi. I don't know if you will see this before tonight, but Tawnya and I will probably be at the Red Room more like 8:30 or so. If you are still planning to go, look for me- I have spiky blonde hair and I will probably be wearing my SG hoodie. We may end up upstairs, so if you don't see us downstairs look for us up there. smile

any subject that might lead to lizard-men is worth exploring.

as for the octopus/girl pix, i am trying to get prints made eventually

in the meantime, about 10 of them will be reproduced in my book, which comes out in september--Sean says he'll sell it in the SG store.

did you know there's a kid here in NYC who has a zine called Squid Vicious?

My new profile picture came from a sticker we found at my grandparents' house. I have no idea where it originally came from or exactly what it's all about but I think it's fucking rad anyway. So there.
waldo:
I'll be happy to proofread for you.
waldo:
ok! gosh, but I'll email you my real email since my I think my linked email box is full...

I started a new part time job. I do manual labor and get paid very poorly but it's manual labor in the name of marine biology so I don't mind. Besides, this is only a means to my goal of total world cephalopod domination... or something.

Congratulations on the new job!
I'm looking to make my escape from the Aquarium. Boss situation got so bad, I went to HR again, and was told they'd side with my boss all the way. Gotta go. puke
Pigtails' post above reminded me that my girlfriend's 9yr old daughter wrote & drew a book for me for Chanukah, in which the Devil Duck is the villain, and we chase it on our motorcycles to save the world. She rocks.

Just in case you didn't know this... kiss :wuv:

In the summer of 1989 I had just finished my freshman year of high school... with a 0.667 grade point average. My parents weren't pleased. They sent me off to a college campus where there was a summer program for underachievers like me. I made some friends, smoked a lot of pot, and worked very hard at making sure that I learned nothing.

Today I...

I shaved my head again and my former boss told me I looked scary. I'm hoping that she meant scary in the "tough-guy who plays by his own rule / I'm a rebel Dottie" sort of way and not in the "hideously deformed product of inbreeding" of way.
stiles:
Now that was funny.

I'll be around LA/Long beach sometime in the not-too-distant future (late Feb?) . You guys want to get a drink somewhere?
stiles:
I'll do my best to make it northwards. I'll have a car so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. How far are you from LA, anyway?

500 bucks is downright reasonable for a MC trans rebuild if it includes labor to R&R. My car trans is a 6-speed T-56 manual, a devilishly complicated twin-rail unit that requires all kinds of special tools (that I don't have) to set up correctly. I'm letting the pros do this one...

Today was my first day of real college. I really like the campus and I really like the ecology class I'm taking (or at least I liked the first day of it). The only thing that bugs me is the fact that there are some dipshits that are willing to sit down right next to me and spend the whole lecture wispering to each other....

the main thing about his bike is that the rotating wieght is minimal. the lucas ignition is all gone (replaced with chainsaw parts) and the clutch basket and all of the discs are aluminum. the front hub is magnesium and the wheel is a sun (better than borani because it doesn't pick up mud) and it's a lightweight rickman rear wheel.

i like the welded on flanges that accept spiget mounted mikunis. the torque spread is 4500 - 5000 rpms, not the greatest racer but for scrambles it's unbeatable in it's class. he actually trophied in races too, though

You're pretty cute for a bitter old guy. love
