I'm going to get up early tomorrow and go down to the harbor. Then I'm gonna spend several hours in the water, under a boat, upside down. I'm gonna scrape things off the bottom of said boat. I'm gonna get paid for it but not very much. I'm going to think of it as an entry level marine science position (working my way up from the bottom... get it?). I think I've now officially stopped being a programmer.

I think I'm finally going to get a volunteer position at the aquarium. I'm gonna be taking care of sick sea otters or, as I like to call them, sea weasles. Cute little fuckers.

to quit coding is a good thing. i've sort of done it a year ago after a three months 14 hrs/day job for stupid itv-boxes. now i enjoy sitting in nature, taking field recordings or doing things with people, rather than machines.
and to work with animals in water sounds like real cool thing...
