I just did a wheelie right in front of a cop. The really dumb thing about it was that the cop was sitting in his car in plain view when I picked the wheel up. He was parked on the opposite side of the street but I just didn't notice the lights on his roof. I saw him when the wheel was still in the air. I put it down and he gave me a dirty look and made a 'slow down' kind of sign with his hand. I figured the party lights were about to come on and he'd flip around and come after me. I was trying to decide whether or not I should do a runner. He didn't come after me though. I'm not sure if he was busy or if he figured I'd run. I don't really care what the reason was. I'm just glad I was let off with a hand signal.
P.S. It was a very low speed wheelie. I was probably only going twenty-five or so when I put the wheel back down, so it's not like I was putting the general public in danger.
