I filed my taxes today. I owe the federal government $17. That's about as perfect as I can get it. I'm pretty happy about that. I don't like to have to pay in a lot and I don't like refunds. That just means I lent them my money interest free.
We are having some gopher problems and if I don't figure out something my dad is going to buy some damn thing he heard about on the radio called the rodenator. Apparently they blow them right out of their holes. Sick. I'd like to see if I can live trap them, but I don't know what the hell I will do with them once I catch them. Can I let them out in the woods? Or will they just come back? I just don't want to watch my dad blowing them up.
Not much else going on. Working too much, drinking too little. Just wrong, dammit. I don't even have a real job. Why am I doing so much work?
Sigh, might be time to put the puppet away.

I thought of this exchange of ours when I wandered into BestBuy (ha! It was right there) to look for Vampire Weekend. I found it and decided I deserved at least one more cd and tried to remember my extensive wishlists. Like Abe Simpson I stood, a blank mask having no idea of anything I remotely liked, let alone had been comp shopping for. And so I got nothing.
