Ok, here is the new ink as promised!
So here are my pretty new feet! My, pretty and feet are three words that have never shared a sentence before as I've always found feet pretty creepy but now I love them. You never know, I might even rock flip flops this year for the first time ever...if we ever actually get a summer that is! Most people's responce has been 'that's kinda sad' but I don't see it that way. Tears Don't Matter Much is an awesome song by a band I have loved for years and years, called Lucero. Chain Link Fence is my fave song ever (but wouldn't have made such a sweet tattoo
). It just reminds me that we all occasionally have out little breakdowns, out days when things get too much and we just need to vent. That's all crying is, most of the time it means nothing apart from making yourself feel better later, so how can that be bad!?
So, after seeing Ian for those and them not hurting half as much as I thought they might, a week later I went back to him for more! Now they're not healed up yet and my belly is still a bit bruised and a sexy greenish colour, but you get the idea ......
...even if I do say so myself! I was planning on quite a simple, cute swallow my friend Gem had sketchy for me on a birthday card but Ian hooked them up into these mad beauties and I couldnt be happier with them! Now I just want him to cover my entire body, ha ha. Although these bad boys HURT! I've never asked a tattooist to stop before ever but the higher up parts kept hitting this spot that made me wanna vom and I just needed to catch my breath. But four hours later, it was so, so worth it! He is so amazingly talented and a totally fascinating cutie
So apart from that, I have been a boring homework bunnie. Some finance here, some environmental impact assessment here, mixed up with some dissertation methodology. So to break the work cycle I took on a shoot on Sunday. To be honest I just wanted some good shots of my new ink but everyones wins. And tomorrow, after months of meaning to go, I'm off to Body Worlds at the O2. Lots of dead bodies and anatomy exhibits
As long as I'm allowed to take pics in there...expect tons!
And because I am a huge nerd and haven't been out of the house today, seeing this was the highlight of my day...
Can't wait to see it! Oh and if anyone fancies recommending me some good music, please do, I'm really bored of all my music at the moment and it's doing my nut in!
