So, the FBI is at my workplace today. Apparently, my boss applied for some type of loan or something at the bank, and then the government was suddenly alerted to the fact that we have been manufacturing high-tech, all-terrain hardware that could possibly be used in military operations. So they are here today to warn us about the dangers of exporting our technology overseas and such things.
Say nothing of the fact, however, that we've been doing this for almost 30 years, and most of our business is international for about the same length of time. Gotta love government "intelligence".
The representative that they sent here is kind of a rat-like man... he looks and sounds pleasant, but there is something vaguely unnerving about him. His demeanor is a little -too- polite and complimentary, to the point where he comes off
as being really fake.
I'm so pissed off that I had to leave the office room for his visit... I can barely overhear what they're talking about in there!
