So recently I've been having the urge to redo my tremendously craptacular webpage(s), which is kind of funny, because I just revamped them a few months ago. However, I didn't really finish what I started, and they look like ass.

I really want a way to keep a lot of current content on the pages, without it looking like some 14 year old's blog. I tried using geeklog and moveable type, and they're both good for the news sections, but I have a lot of other shit on my page that I need to incorporate with this, and I don't think they'll cut it. Plus, my webserver is uber-slow (250Mhz mips processor, 144Mb ram... but it's really tiny and doesn't use much electricity, so I love it despite these faults). MT was taking about 5 seconds for each page generation, and geeklog wasn't doing a hell of a lot better, with 4 seconds per load. Although under light system loads, it was as low as 1-2 seconds per page.

I, like many programmers out there, have a very annoying instinct to re-invent the wheel. However, this time, I really don't want to write an assload of CGI scripts for this... I'd really rather spend my time working on other stuff. Does anyone out there know of a good content management system for stuff like this?

On a completely different sidenote, I just noticed something really fucking weird. I have suddenly acquired two identical circular scars, one on each arm, and I have no fucking idea where they came from:

[Edit] Wow, I fucked up BIGTIME at work today... hahah. Maybe I'll post about that tomorrow. I don't think I'll get fired, but I'll definitely be made fun of for the next month or so. =/
