Ok, I quit hosing down every bee in my house with bleach, partially because I felt bad about it after finding a small pile of dead bees in the stairwell of my apartment complex. Plus I've discovered that using just the net is a lot more of a challenge. rawr!

I've also determined that my fair little town has a huge case of corporate penis envy. It all started about 6 monthns or so ago, when the burger king tore down their restaurant and built a new, improved one right across the street. Then, some other building was decimated to make way for a brand new subway. Unable to deal with all this pressure, the taco bell (which is adjacent to these other restaurants) leveled its location, and built a new taco bell -literally- next door. The old taco bell property is now an unsettlingly large (and mostly empty) parking lot for the new location.
So now, the mcdonalds is the only fast food restaurant (and I use the term 'restaurant' liberally here) that isn't brand spanking new, containing all the latest and greatest advances in fast food technology. Given that there are empty lots next to and across the street from the mcdonalds, I figure it's only a matter of time.
