I am officially the bee-catching master. So I moved into this new apartment awhile back, and it's been really nice so far. The building is 100+ years old, and it's got hardwood floors. It's kind of a breath of fresh air, especially when you are living in the midst of a small town in Indiana.
Anyways, the major glitch in this apartment so far (other than the plaster peeling off of the walls and the toilet repeatedly misbehaving) is the bees. I don't know how or why they end up in here, but every day, I find about 2-3 bees have invaded the premises.
I hate killing things. Even bees. Even when they sting you without provocation. However, I'm not against a little hardball. I've managed to capture maybe a dozen bees this week, using the following approach:

1. Spray bee with chlorox bleach, and be prepared to run like hell
2. When stunned bee falls and stumbles about on floor, leap into action and capture it with a goldfish net. Yes, a goldfish net.
3. Release said bee down stairwell, so it can invade other buildings in apartment complex.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling brave, I'll just go after them with the net and forgo the chemical warfare. Bring it on, motherfuckers.
