So yeah. Here's an entry and such things. I started another journal on my website, so I've been kind of in an introspective mood as of late. Being around computers does that to you, I guess.
I was wasting time on slashdot, and stumbled across a really flame-soaked thread about the US and our involvement in global affairs. I think the most shocking thing about the whole issue is really how debates like this instantly become divided into a whole "us vs. them" scenario, with nobody willing to admit wrong. I used to feel that leaving the US would make me a happier/better/fuller person, but I know it's not that simple. It's just sad to watch fantasies die sometimes.
