Today I had a great idea that can be traced back to a series of events that started on Saturday...1) went thriftin and found among other things the old school 3rd Bass tape "The Cactus Album" on which is the classic song Gas Face w/KMD MC n/k/a MF Doom...2) came home and heard about the Fab 5 Freddy Lecture which I peeped....3) Listening to 3rd Bass in my car it dawns on me that Rhyme Sayers is releasing a disc this fall of MF Dooms, wouldn't it be dope if we re-released Gas Face, or better yet a Gas Face 2002, Post 9/11....wouldn't that be dope? It was kind of an old school journey that lead me to this concept..I mean, wouldn't a reinterpretation of this song be so apropo to the times we are living in right now? So....if you see it this fall you read it here first....l
