Who knew?!

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend! I enjoyed food and beverage with friends all weekend so it was good. I am just now getting back into the swing of daily life again.

A fantabulous wedding in Santa Barbara for a great friend this Saturday! Great weather, great ceremony, great people, great dinner, and better yet... great cocktails and dancing!! It was a beautiful wedding and the reception couldn't have been better. I loved every minute of it and am extremely happy for my friends. We should all be so lucky!

Today was a great day! I created a one minute snippet of music for my former roommates poetry project. It was for disabled adults who write and perform their own poetry. Down at the Castro Halloween spectacle. Nothing quite like it. If you have never been then I highly recommend it! I just found out the next morning about the shootings. Glad I left before that happened!

Quite the week plus it has been. Partied pretty hard over the previous weekend as evidenced by a previous blog. Off to Club DNA for the Rotersand, Imperative Reaction, and Covenant show Sunday night. Life is a fucked up thing. It is never really good, but just when you think it isn't you look around what your life is and you realize - life is good. It sucks to be alive in today's world, but it's great to be alive. I am going out to be alive and enjoy!

I was happy to see the Suicide Girls make prime time TV. I am just glad a Suicide Girl wasn't the killer. Congrats to Missy and all the Suicide Girls for bringing a differing opinion of beauty to the masses even though some of us already know the beauty of Suicide Girls!!
