So the passing of my Father, his birthday, the passing of one of my Mom's best friends, the 2nd scare of breast cancer for a close friend (the first required a mastectomy, but this scare was malignant), my friend's birthday, and my roommate's birthday all passed in the past 2 weeks. It has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. I have survived the past few weeks, but it does explain some of my behavior and recklessness as of late. Clearly I am not really in a good place.
