I have been sad the past few weeks. My sister has divorced her husband (OK, that happened a while ago), and has now taken the kids (my niece and nephew; 9 and 6) and moved from my home in Pennsylvania to Maryland. She has cut our Mom out of her and the kids life and is now doing the same to me. I fear I will never get to see my niece and nephew again. I am also very bothered by what my sister could be saying to them about me. I have been a very good uncle to them. They call me Uncle Shaggy (obvious Scooby Doo reference). I am at a loss for what to do. I know I will probably be able to get a mailing address, but I think anything I send will be confiscated by my sister. It is a very disheartening situation since family is so important to me. Clearly family doesn't mean the same thing to me sister.
