My father died last Wednesday. It wasnt a surprise because he was sick, but it still hasnt been an easy thing to deal with. My sister and I fought over how to deal with some things and while we arent really in a good spot together I think we made things better between us.

While trying to deal with that I recently rec'd an email from a ghost of the past: a woman I used to have a thing with. It was a very complicated tale of woe, but I do have some great stories now. It ended unfortunately in a bad way: she tried to commit suicide not once, but twice. Well she just contacted me to say she's sorry, she misses me, and that I was right. I am very conflicted because I still care for her, but I do I really want to revisit such a rough time? I will because I want to help her, but I know I really cant.

The good news from the past week is that I went to see a concert Saturday night. I saw theSTART and they were great!! I had a great time chatting with the drummer, Chelsea. She's a kick ass drummer, super cute, and I had fun meeting her. Although the highlight was getting invited to a party hosted by Metropolis record label owner Dave. Actually his wife invited me. So I have that to look forward to next Satyrday. Woohoo!!
