Life has a way of kicking your ass just when you don't need it to. I know it always turns around, but that is hard to believe some days. Great friend from work whose mother gets diagnosed with terminal type 4 stomach cancer, sister divorces husband AGAIN (they've been married 3 times now and divorced 3 times so yeah my niece and nephew are going to turn out OK - please note the sarcasm), work continues to be stressful without a director, and a sense of hopelessness and patheticness has gripped me. I know it will eventually all turn around, but the past week plus has been pretty blah at best. Here is to better days (me and the Captian - Morgan that is - are toasting to that)!
