Home alone (it isn't even my home as I am cat/house sitting) while the woman who I was going to move in with and eventually date (her words not mine) is having a birthday party with my friends (hers too) and the guy she is now dating. He was my friend (we all work together), but twice now he has set me up with a woman only to tempt me and steal her away from me, lying the whole time, including her. I forgave him the first time, but now I can't. So he taunts me by inviting me to her birthday party, but obviously I can't go, which is his plan to make me look like the jerk. I rant, I feel like a fool, but reality sets in: I am better off without either of them. My REAL friends agree.
