Hey my lovely SG babies,
This weeks homework from @rambo @missy & @lyxzen is "What would you like to accomplish in the next year?", and I don't even know where to start. I have some incredible plans for this long life of mine. This year is going to take the cake, though. I finally found my home at an amazing tattoo and piercing studio, working full time and still finding time for myself & those I care about is tough, but I know they understand that this craziness won't last forever. We have an exciting tattoo convention coming up, NIX 2015, is anyone going? My boss started the convention 17 years ago, and it has since spawned into a big beautiful gathering of all sorts of awesome people. I'll be there all weekend helping out, promoting our studio and taking pictures with people :)
Right after the convention, I am flying out to Vancouver to learn heavier body modification & body suspension. I will most likely be doing my second suspension around this time. My mentor is going to teach me everything I need to know, so that I can come back to Toronto and start my own group, and eventually, there will be small little groups of us all over the world and we can have tea parties and hang out together (pun intended). This group is not secluded to suspension, and will include many more ritualistic practices including but not limited to: fire walking, sweat lodges, body sewing for meditation purposes. I am beyond excited to see what this path has in store for me.
I have contacted several body modification artists whom I admire about possible guest spots and learning opportunities. Eventually I hope to be able to perform ear pointing, tongue splitting, branding, scarification, genital beading, transdermal implants, subdermal implants, nullification (nullo), and basically any other procedure that has been invented hahahaha. I want to learn it all!!! I have had one respond, and we are hoping to have them at the studio in late 2016 for a guest spot, during which time I'm hoping to get my ears pointed. I'm so excited!
Ultimately, I would love to become an official SG this year. My second set comes out in just one month, shot by my good friend Tyrone Islington. This set is very dear to my heart because its theme is Gorillaz, my favourite band :) I love this set and its definitely my favourite so far, I hope you all love it as much as I do! I have another set coming out 3 months down the road from that shot by @sergiochaotik, excited for you all to see that too. Finally got to shoot a set in my onesie! Two onesies, actually. One under the other. Except the under-onesie is much sexier than the butt-flap onesie. You'll just have to wait and see the onesie-ception to come!
I'm hoping to do a lot more with life modeling! I love being drawn. This is from my last session about a week ago. Someone drew me without tattoos! How neat is that? Haha. I look extra naked!
I know this year is going to be filled with lots and lots of learning, growing, and most importantly loving.
