soooo hot right now. it's fricking 38 on the deck! and I refuse to wear shoes so it's like walking on a barbeque.

a friend of mine wanted to go paint balling for her birthday. I have never done anything like that so I wasn't really sure what to expect. they've constructed this little war zone out on the highway somewhere. you have to jump the fence. I was all in camo and that mixed with vaulting over chain link makes a girl feel very butch. oora.

it reminds me a lot of the interior here. except instead of the hills of golden grass broken up with the cool silver of the birch trees, it's all gorse and scrub with bright gold flowers. little spindly trees growing up in rust soil.

all in all I had fun. I have a mega bruise on my arm. I'll post pictures later. they're pretty epic.

I'm planning on giving the dogs a bath today and trying to get down to the seawall. I've never been and I wonder if it's anything like the one in vancouver.
